3. Heating system:

In order to promote the rapid curing of the resin, the mold is usually equipped with a heating system, which can be electric heating, oil heating or other forms of heating. Temperature control is essential to ensure the full curing of the material and the quality of the product.

4. Durability and maintenance:

Since pultrusion is a continuous and high-speed process, the mold needs to be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure its dimensional accuracy and surface finish and extend its service life.

5. Release agent:

In order to reduce the adhesion between the product and the mold and improve production efficiency, a release agent is usually used on the mold surface.

6. Customization:

According to specific application requirements, FRP pultrusion molds can be highly customized, including different cross-sectional shapes, lengths, and whether special designs such as openings and threads are required.

Selecting and designing the right FRP pultrusion mold is essential for producing high-quality and efficient FRP products. This requires not only a deep understanding of mold materials and processing technology, but also a deep understanding of FRP material properties and pultrusion processes.
